Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born the 31st of January 1974. She's best known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was created at Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter, an academic and Peter Silk, who was an actor, director, producer, playwright, educator, and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of the first moments in her childhood, like taking part in rehearsals of plays. Silk made several commercials while she was still in the midst of her childhood. The year 1997 was the time she graduated with a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced at least Two early productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she met him in 2007 during an acting workshop in Los Angeles. They got married in 2009 and married with a civil ceremony the month of December in that same year. They renewed their vows on April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton following the time that Silk converted to Judaism. Silk had a child who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th, 2013. Levi Aaron is her second son, born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk was nominated in 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. In 2009 she landed the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk made it known to her fans that she was expecting a baby in January 2013 during a Showcase Season Three Special. Silk tweeted on June 20th that she's ready to go back to work. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of final season of production. CNN's Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top television Couples.
